During “Campus en Fête”, GOTO10 will end the “8-6 s’expose” party. This evening includes a Gag Club (!), a radiophonic improvisation and video projections from the 8-6 Production collective. All this will end with shift and frustating humour of those Icelandic burning heads SURR GRRR, active members of the dSM team (cf. O.Chatte…).

With constant changing name, SURR GRRR, aka SGURR for intimates, provides an experimental music performance both noisy and recreational. SURR GRRR consists of Yorgee videos, Freeka & miss Sgurr (aka Toyerro*). They’re currently working on the aesthetic paradox. Their schizophrenia is based on digital delicacy moments, which may fall into pure absurdity, losing themselves in the grindcore and noise music clichés. Their work, composed by iconographic defacements and reappropriation of sounds clichés, is based on the frustration theme, switching from wall of sounds to odd and meticulous electronic atmospheres, with film syncopation in the background. So the audience neurones will have to be alert cause this Reykjavik band plays with nerves and needs critical ears and eyes.

In the past few years, SURR GRRR have played with Lightning Bolt (Load records), Transformer Di Roboter (Deco/WMF), Chlorgeschlecht (Deco), O.Lamm (Active Suspension), dDamage (Planet Mu), Hypo (Active Suspension), Knifehandchop (Tigerbeat6/Irritant), Hella.
