back from Piksel07 :)

P1k53L was good fun as usual. Below some photos from Carlo to remember the great time we had in Bergen!

CATkit Workshop
We have presented the latest evolution of what was drafted a year ago and shown at piksel06. We have designed a PCB, selected some components, and built a complete standalone 1-bit synth that can be programmed interactively via a computer running GNU/Linux, connected to the kit using a TTL-232R cable. During the workshop the participants assembled the board and wrote a simple sound/music program to run it standalone on batteries.

d0->d1->d2->d3->d4
Claude is exploring again the higher dimensions of a robotic and raw techno music. Piloting an audiovisual object with scrambled spatial references, Claude operated with the aid of a simple softsynth drumbox and complex computations in this updated version of his live set.

FLOSS+Art/people.makeart
We did a presentation of the call, the website, the free software art database and the upcoming ideas around the book project

Sheepsint: closer to the metal
Sequel of the lo-fi SheepSint live, we used using the CATkit board for a intensive 1-bit noise mini live performance
